The LiveWire had a lot of potential when it first launched under Harley-Davidson, but has it already fallen behind the competition? While the price was a big issue at first, now the bigger problem is how outdated the battery and charging tech feels.
With no Level 2 charging, LiveWire riders are stuck with slow home charging, which is a dealbreaker for many EV owners. On top of that, competitors like Energica are offering larger battery capacities and better charging options at similar prices.
At this point, it seems like Harley needs to make a major update to keep LiveWire relevant. Maybe even consider an electric Electra Glide with real range and storage. Would that be enough to bring more riders on board, or does LiveWire need an entirely new strategy?
